Dr Shiavone is wonderful. She is warm, patient and gentle especially with teens when they might need a painful procedure. She is assertive about treating but not too aggressive when she doesn’t believe it to be warranted. Her kindness is contagious and totally puts patients and/or parents at ease. I doubt you will find a better dermatologist out there. Scheduling is easy and often available next day once you are established with the practice. Office staff is easy to work with and welcoming. I started seeing Dr. Lily when I was in my early 40s and 6 months postpartum. It was one of the best health care decisions I have ever made. Almost 3 years later, my skin is transformed and I am leaving the house without makeup on (but plenty of sunscreen!) for the first time since I was 13! I'm a full-time executive and a solo mom by choice. My 5 minute skincare/face routine to leave the house is crucial to my schedule and allows me to get my toddler and myself to school/work on time. Dr. Lily helped me navigate through my postpartum melasma, dark spots, acne scars,  uneven skin tone, fine lines, and wrinkles.  Candidly,  I'm open to all procedures and visit Dr. Lily for botox, (quarterly) micro needling (ad hoc after initial 6 sessions), IPL (annually), and filler (every 2 years?), and have a Rx for latisse and tretinoin. That said, it has been a 3 year journey and Dr. Lily worked with me to prioritize and tackle my skincare issues in a way that wasn't overwhelming.  She kept saying "good skin takes time and patience" and she was right. Dr. Lily has probably saved me thousands on unnecessary skin care products and at home devices as well.  She focuses on research based in-office solutions and practical, productive at-home routines. Oh and the cleanser and moisturizer from her SkinKure line are THE BEST.
